A-SeriesPressure lubricated compressors, boosters and vacuum pumps

Champion's A-Series is a pressure lubricated reciprocating line covering boosters, vacuum pumps and air-cooled bare compressors. Compressors and boosters run 15 to 40 hp at operating pressures up to 350 psig, vacuum models run 5 to 10 hp down to 28 inches Hg, and listed uses include refineries, oil rigs, ore mines and well head servicing.

  • Counterbalanced crankshaft, its ends carried on large tapered roller bearings
  • Deep-finned cast iron cylinders and heads shed the heat of compression
  • Suction unloading valves, where fitted, give load-less starting and stopping
  • ANP natural gas versions use Viton o-rings and leave no brass or copper exposed
